Nelson Mandela

The famous taciturn South African president reveals much of himself in Long Walk to Freedom. Much of this autobiography was written by the apartheid regime, Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years, while secretly seals in South Africa with Iceland. For the book's interesting revelations is Mandela's ambivalence toward his lifetime of devotion to work public. It cost him two marriages and kept him away from a family life thatotherwise expensive. Long Walk to Freedom also reveals a strong and generous spirit, that will break under the most difficult circumstances rejected - a spirit in which almost everyone can see something.
